Steamboat trips on the Elbe River are a fabulous way to discover the Elbe River valley with picturesque residences, pretty castles, awesome bridges and mature vineyards. The porcelain town of Meissen and the mountainous landscapes in Saxon Switzerland or the Erzgebirge are to be recommended as well.
